Precautions for maintenance of loader tires

The correct maintenance of loader tires is crucial for ensuring equipment efficiency and extending tire service life.

The correct maintenance of loader tires is crucial for ensuring equipment efficiency and extending tire service life. Here are some maintenance points:

Regularly check tire pressure: Ensure that tire pressure is maintained within the manufacturer's recommended standard range. Low air pressure can increase tire wear and fuel consumption, while high air pressure may reduce traction and increase the risk of tire blowouts.

Check tire wear: Regularly inspect the tire surface for cuts, punctures, cracks, or abnormal wear. Timely repair or replace damaged tires to prevent malfunctions during operation.

Tire positioning and balance: Ensure correct tire positioning and avoid irregular wear. When necessary, perform dynamic tire balancing to reduce vibration and improve work comfort.

Cleaning tires: Regularly clean the surface of tires from dirt, stones, and other debris to prevent them from getting embedded in the tire tread and accelerating wear or damage to the tires.

Wheel rim inspection: Check whether the wheel rim is deformed or damaged, as poor wheel rims can affect the sealing of the tire and cause air leakage.

Avoid overloading: Strictly operate according to the rated load capacity of the loader. Overloading will exacerbate tire wear and reduce service life.

Tire Rotation: Regularly rotating the tire helps to evenly wear and extend its overall lifespan.

Seasonal maintenance: In winter, especially when the temperature is below freezing, it is necessary to check and replace with antifreeze suitable for low-temperature environments, and consider using winter tires or adding anti-skid chains to enhance grip.
